Limited warranty
Last updated July 27, 2026
Your adapter is covered against defects for one year from the date you bought it. If it stops working and you did not break it, we replace it.
What is covered
Miller Tech Solutions warrants the V015 adapter against defects in materials and workmanship for twelve months from the date of purchase, to the original purchaser. If it fails in that period through normal use, we will replace it or refund the purchase price, at our option.
What is not covered
- Physical damage, liquid damage, or a snapped connector.
- Damage from a vehicle electrical fault, a jump start, or a voltage spike.
- Modification, disassembly, or attempted repair.
- Normal cosmetic wear.
- Adapters bought secondhand or from an unauthorized reseller.
The activation code
Your activation code is not a physical product and is not covered by this warranty. If you lose the card, email us the order number and we will look it up. If a code has been used on more devices than it should have been, contact support — we can see the activation history and will fix a genuine problem.
Compatibility is not a defect
The V015 reads engine and emissions data on 1996-and-newer US-market vehicles through the generic OBD-II interface. It does not read ABS, airbag, TPMS or transmission-specific manufacturer codes, and an adapter that will not show you those is working correctly. We state this on the product page for exactly this reason.
Vehicles outside the OBD-II standard — heavy trucks on J1939, motorcycles, and anything pre-1996 — are not supported, and that is not a warranty claim.
How to make a claim
Email support@millerobd.com with your order number, where you bought it, and a description of what the adapter does or does not do. We will usually ask a couple of diagnostic questions first — a fair share of "dead" adapters turn out to be an unpowered OBD-II port — and then send a replacement if it is genuinely faulty.
If you bought through a marketplace, the platform's own return window may be the faster route inside the first month. Use whichever helps you sooner.
Your legal rights
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights that vary from state to state, and nothing here limits them.
