Scope
The V015 reads engine and emissions systems — the powertrain and emissions codes required by the OBD-II standard on every 1996-and-newer US vehicle. It does not read ABS, airbag (SRS), TPMS or transmission-specific manufacturer codes. Those need make-specific decoding that generic OBD-II hardware cannot do.

Understand the cause
Open any code for ranked likely causes, repair guidance, a severity call and a confidence rating — plus a link to the standard the definition comes from. Freeze-frame data sits on the same screen, so you can see what the engine was doing when the fault hit.
Know your vehicle
DriveDecode reads your VIN and decodes it to year, make, model and engine. That matters: thousands of trouble codes mean different things on different makes, and you get the definition for your car rather than a generic one.
Watch live data
A handful of large, readable gauges for the values that matter — coolant temperature, fuel trims, RPM, load — with the rest available behind them. Readable at arm's length with the hood up.
Check emissions readiness
Every monitor, marked ready, not ready or not supported, framed as the question you actually have: will this pass? Worth checking before you drive to the test station.
Clear codes, carefully
Clearing is behind a real confirmation that explains what it does — resets your emissions monitors, and does not fix the underlying fault. Too many apps make this a one-tap mistake.
