These terms cover this website, the V015 adapter and the DriveDecode app, all provided by Miller Tech Solutions, a division of Miller Warehouse, LLC.
Your license
Buying an adapter gets you an activation code and a personal, non-transferable license to use DriveDecode on up to two devices at a time. You can move the license between your own devices by releasing a seat in the app. You may not share, resell or publish your activation code.
The app itself stays ours. You are licensed to use it, not sold a copy of it, and you may not reverse engineer it, extract our diagnostic database, or use it to build a competing product.
What the product does and does not do
DriveDecode and the V015 read engine and emissions data through the generic OBD-II interface. They do not read ABS, airbag, TPMS or transmission-specific manufacturer codes, and we make no claim that they do.
Diagnostic information is provided to help you understand your vehicle. It is not a professional diagnosis and it is not a repair authorization. A trouble code identifies a failed test, not necessarily the part that needs replacing. You are responsible for deciding what work to do, and for having a qualified technician do it where that is appropriate.
Safety
Do not operate the app while driving. Do not work under a vehicle that is not properly supported. Clearing trouble codes resets your emissions readiness monitors and can cause an emissions test to fail until they run again; that is your call to make, and the app warns you before you make it.
Warranties
Hardware is covered by the limited warranty. Beyond that warranty, the products are provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Some states do not allow that exclusion, so it may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Miller Warehouse, LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from use of the products, including vehicle damage, repair costs or lost time. Our total liability will not exceed what you paid for the product.
Availability
The app depends on our servers to explain codes. We aim to keep them up, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service, and we may change or discontinue features.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in whichMiller Warehouse, LLC is organized, without regard to conflict of law rules.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted with a revised date at the top of this page.
