Privacy policy

The short version: we collect the least we can get away with, we do not sell it, and there are no advertising trackers on this site.

This website

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It is cookieless and does not fingerprint or track you between sites, which is why there is no consent banner on this site. It tells us which pages get read and nothing that identifies you.

There are no advertising pixels, no session recording, no chat widgets and no third-party embeds on this site.

When you email us or use a form

If you submit the support form or ask to be notified at launch, we store the email address you gave us and whatever you typed. Launch notifications go out once and the list is not used for anything else. Support messages are kept while the issue is open and for a reasonable period afterward so we can pick up a follow-up.

The DriveDecode app

The app sends trouble codes and, when you scan it, your VIN to our servers so they can be decoded and explained. Your VIN is decoded through the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration's public database and the result is cached to avoid repeat lookups.

Activation stores a randomly generated install identifier against your activation code so the two-device limit can be enforced and so you can move your license to a new phone. That identifier is not linked to your name, your email or your vehicle.

The app does not collect location data, does not read your contacts, and does not upload live sensor data or driving history. Live data stays on your device.

What we never do

• Sell or rent your personal information.
• Share your vehicle data with insurers, dealers or marketers.
• Track you across other websites.

Service providers

We use Cloudflare for hosting and network delivery, Supabase for our database, and Google Firebase App Check to confirm requests come from a genuine copy of our app. Each processes data only to provide that service to us.

Your choices

Email support@millerobd.com to see what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. Deleting your activation record releases your license seats, so you will need your activation code to set the app up again.

Children

Our products are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect, we will update the date at the top and note the change on this page.
